Technical Support Services to Ocean Color Program
Futuretech supports whole spectrum of project-wide activities including
mission operations of SeaWiFS satellite project and ocean color research
project:
• Provide programming support for algorithm development to derive global estimates of ocean primary productivity
data from CZCS, SeaWiFS, MODIS, and other sensors, development of software
and its application and coordination with
existing ocean color software, development of software for analysis of
primary productivity data, and support for
the coordination of related interdisciplinary science groups. Futuretech
personnel provide maintenance of the computing facility for this activity
and coordination of technical interfaces with
MODIS Team Leader Computing Facility.• Support the software design, development, operation, and documentation of the Mission Operations, Data Capture, and
Data Processing elements of the SeaWiFS and SIMBIOS Projects.• Provide data analysis support for the Bio-Optical Archive and Storage System of the SeaWiFS/Ocean the performance of algorithms using in-situ
data match-ups. To operate and calibrate the SXR-II Transfer Radiometer,
which will be used to calibrate different kinds of light sources in various
laboratories. The light sources are used to calibrate field radiometers
that acquire in-situ data that is compared with SeaWiFS data. • Provide technical support in Systems Administration for SeaWiFS/Ocean Color Project; provide the maintenance and operation of data systems,
servers, and devices. Full support in the acquisition and implementation
of hardware and software. |
